Three Lake Washington School District high schools put their students on display at the Washington State Thespian Festival March 15-16 in Ellensburg, Wash. Ten of those students received recognition at the state festival and all three competing high schools received team awards as well.
March is National Athletic Training Month, a month dedicated to honoring and celebrating the valuable contributions of athletic trainers.
Kisa Dupe is a senior at Redmond High School (RHS). She also holds the title of the first ever Miss Washington HBCU Teen in the Miss HBCU Teen Scholarship Pageant. Dupe is using her platform to promote a book drive that focuses on diversity of characters. She is hosting the book drive in tandem with Kennedy Roberts. Roberts is a junior at Tesla STEM High School and is the first ever Miss Washington HBCU Junior Teen in the newly established Junior Teen division of the pageant.
Redmond High School (RHS) juniors Sarah Mendahawi and Prisha Sood of Blu Birds had a vision. What if there was a volunteer organization that aimed to bridge the generational gap and foster mental well-being through intergenerational bonds?
