Scholarship Letters of Recommendation & Transcripts

*FIRST -- Always check each individual scholarships website , if there is one, for updated information on submission requirements and/or a change in deadline.

*Outside scholarships (those not listed on our PSL page) asking for an official transcript: Contact the scholarship coordinator and ask if they will accept an unofficial one.  If so, please email your counselor for a copy.  If they need an official one, your counselor will need to email it directly to the scholarship provider.  In the email to your counselor for the official transcript, make sure to include the email address for the scholarship provider they are to send it to, as well as any other important details.

*Letters of recommendation from RHS staff:  Contact the scholarship coordinator and ask if they will accept the letters of recommendation directly from the person, via email.  If so, you will need to include the scholarship providers email in your request to the staff member.  Please allow at least 2 weeks, if not more, for the staff member to complete the letter and submit it on your behalf.
*This is uncharted territory for everyone.  Be patient, be kind and be resourceful.  We are here for you!!
