New: Graduation requirement: High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP)
RHS counselors will be meeting with all seniors during October and November. SENIORS, your counselor will schedule a meeting for you or send a pass for you to come down when convenient. During this meeting you will:

• Review graduation progress
• Complete a graduation tracker to be shared with family 
• Discuss post high school plans, questions 

Your HSBP requirement will be successfully met once you have this meeting with your counselor AND once a resume is submitted. Don’t have a resume? Not sure how to begin? Stop by the College and Career Center or check the CCC website under Career Exploration and Preparation for tips and ideas. Seniors must submit their resume HERE. This link will also be posted on the RHS Counseling website.
 

LETTER of RECOMMENDATION
Seniors - If you need a letter of recommendation, please remember that the deadline to get your request to counselors and teachers is at least 14 school days before your deadline.  For your reference, please see upcoming deadlines below:
 
If you have a November 15 deadline, request is due November 1
If you have a December 1 deadline, request is due November 15
If you have a December 15 deadline, request is due November 30
if you have a January 1 deadline, request is due November 30. This gives staff 14 school days to complete letters. Teachers and counselors will not be writing letters over winter break.  
If you have a January 15 deadline, request is due December 20.  This gives staff 14 school days to complete letters. Teachers and counselors will not be writing letters over winter break.  
 
Your counselor’s letter of recommendation packets may be found here - Letters of Recommendation - Redmond High School (lwsd.org).  Just click on your counselor and you will be sent to the correct form!  Teachers will often have their own format, or you can use the form added at the bottom of this page for teachers.
 
Staff are expected to write these letters on their own time.  Please do be aware and honor their commitment to your future!
Remember, you do not need to wait for your letters and school reports to uploaded by school staff.  Colleges do expect your information to be completed independent of counselors and teachers. 



New: YEARBOOK SENIOR PORTRAITS
Seniors, here is information about submitting your Senior portrait for the yearbook.
If you do not submit a portrait, your student ID photo will be used instead.
Senior Portraits Due Date:  January 10 NO EXCEPTIONS!
Sizing Info:

• File Type: .jpg, .tif, .png, and .heic
• High Resolution (400-500 dpi)
• Max file size 50 MB
• Max image size 10,000 pixels x 10,000 pixels
• Recommended size 800 pixels x 1000 pixels
• RGB file format (no CMYK)
